The critical disulfide bridge residues delineating the AI domain (Cys509 and Cys695) are underlined. The 9 residues at positions 563, 566, 570, 581, 584, 587, 616, 618, and 622, indicated with boldfacing, show partial to complete homology between human, canine, porcine, and rabbit VWF AI domains and no homology with murine residues.
