A logistic regression analysis was performed to calculate ORs for oxygen gradient ektacytometry–derived parameters, blood viscosity, DRBCs, HbF, and hemocytometry parameters in relation to occurrence of VOEs in the last 2 years. aORs were corrected for hydroxyurea therapy.
