M-protein in serum ≥30 g/L or urinary M-protein ≥0.5 g per 24 hours |
No evidence of other B-cell proliferative disorder |
No myeloma-related organ or tissue impairment or bone lesions |
Myeloma-defining events |
Evidence of end-organ or tissue impairment |
• Hypercalcemia |
• Renal insufficiency |
• Anemia |
• Osteolytic bone lesions |
Biomarkers of malignancy |
• Clonal bone marrow plasma cell percentage ≥60% |
• Involved: uninvolved serum free light chain ratio ≥100 |
• >1 focal lesion on MRI studies |
